Aluizio Machado • I think this is a trend. Currently i use email with or without pictures to replace many unnecessary postoperative office visits. Some patients that live far away also send me pictures in preoperative evaluation. We still have many concerns among doctors related to etical issues in telemedicine but there is no doubt this is a trend, considering the many benefits it will bring to us !
Liz Duffy • We currently use this method on our out of state patients or our self pay patients, in state. It helps us to get an approx. quote for the patient in order to move forward to get the patient back into the doctors office. We work with patients that have good, bad and no credit. Nikos Neofotistos • I have used skype with my patients and I find it very useful. Some of the operated patients can be reasured that everything is ok and spare an unneccesary visit to the hospital or private practice.
